When Checkuser results include an IP, can the results record for that IP also include quick links to the common registries (ARIN, RIPE, TORCHECK, etc), preloaded with the IP in the URL? Possibly also the reverse DNS (or at least a link to it) if that's not too much work.
Thus a result would look like this:
184.108.40.206 (talk | contribs | block log ...) (CU) (arin | ripe | tor | ...) (Reverse DNS or link)
Adding these links requires no lookup (it's templated with just the IP needing to be slotted in, DNS excepted) but would save a lot of time.
You may want to use http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Voice_of_All/UsefulJS#CheckUser_.28or_clerk.29_Only_JS_.28Requires_dropdown_menu_CSS_script.29.28Requires_Addtab.29
I'd have thought it would be useful in the extension; fairly routine "quick items to add" links of use in almost all cases. Much like the footer on an IP user's talk page.
If I understand it right, the script wouldn't work in opera anyhow?
