Description Colin Pitts 2005-01-02 06:32:19 UTC
Recently Jamesday locked the database temporarily for some maintenance work. At
the same time, I began an attempt to create a new redirect, using the link

http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Luchador_Wrestling&action=edit

On the page displayed, there was a "Database locked" title, and the standard
database locked message. Normal.

However, in the textarea field was the raw source of MediaWiki:Noarticletext. It
should have displayed nothing.

Still an issue in 1.6?
Comment 2 Colin Pitts 2005-12-31 19:01:53 UTC
Don't know, the requirement that the databases be locked makes it difficult to test.
Comment 3 Rob Church 2005-12-31 20:34:21 UTC
Give me the particulars, and I'll attempt to reproduce locally. The database was
locked prior to the editing, right?
Comment 4 Colin Pitts 2005-12-31 23:27:42 UTC
I believe so.

As you can see from the date, I reported this a year ago, so my memory of
anything beyond what I reported is a bit lacking.
Comment 5 Rob Church 2006-05-31 19:38:19 UTC
Kicking back up since it's still a-lurking. Reproduced accidentally while
upgrading a wiki the other day.
Comment 6 Rob Church 2006-11-21 16:25:43 UTC
Seems to have been fixed some time ago.
