There are two classes of imports that occur rather often to justify the ability to import from Commons to en.wikisource.org: 1) Image pages on commons that consist of text often have the full text transcribed there, and retaining the contribution history is useful even though the work is PD. The "Image:" page would be imported to the "Page:" namespace on wikisource 2) PD templates on commons are usually applicable for en.WS as-is or with a little tweaking.
