Description Random832 2007-12-18 15:53:00 UTC
Provide a warning if a user's edit results in a large amount of material being removed from the end of the article and the resulting size is in the neighborhood of 32kb, to ask if that was really what they intended or if their browser caused it. It could be an optional confirmation prompt (people who know their browsers have such problems can turn it on) similar to posting without an edit summary.

Is this still necessary?

See also bug 21911 (Limit for long page warning should be configurable).
