Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Nicolas Montes 2007-12-07 00:03:46 UTC
When an article is being deleted, there will be a check box on that page that deletes the talk page at the same time
Comment 1 Brion Vibber 2007-12-07 15:35:14 UTC
Talk pages should be retained, as they may contain information about why the page was deleted.

Actually, there's a speedy delete template {{db-g8}} for orphan talk pages. They should be deleted unless it's absolutely necessary to keep them. An option would probably be useful though. tells admins if there is a talk page, so could work just as well.
