Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Rupert Clayton 2007-12-06 19:19:31 UTC
This is to notify Wikimedia developers that there is a formal proposal at to add two functions to to enable a Slideshow template that is already operating in the French wikipedia. We would be grateful for your input there, particularly on the issues of (1) browser compatibility, (2) code optimisations or reuse, (3) graceful failover options for users without JavaScript enabled. Thanks. -- Rupert Clayton

(Please note that this is distinct from the 2006 proposal in Bug ID 5383 as that related specifically to Commons (not en:Wikipedia), and did not have already-written code.)

This bug is only asking for a developer(s) to participate in a discussion on enwiki related to a change to its MediaWiki:Common.js page (which is now archived).
