Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Robin Pepermans (SPQRobin) 2007-11-28 13:58:22 UTC
I have a request to change the template used for new created sites, and a related question.

1) The current template is very outdated.
I have updated it, see [[m:User:SPQRobin/Sandbox]].
Please change it to that version.

2) Where can I view that template? Or can't I view it? I've asked it on IRC and Meta, but it seems nobody knows it.

Another thing that could be useful:

3) Put the template on [[meta:]] like [[m:Project portals]].

Done in r27940, not updated in the Wikimedia working copy yet. I changed instances of "Wikimedia Meta" to "Wikimedia's Meta-Wiki", a slight expansion of the official name given on Meta's main page.

FYI, the initial main page text is in maintenance/addwiki.php.
