Please add an option to user preferences that will permit me to "Mark all edits minor by default EXCEPT new page creation" - this will save me a ton of extra clicks on Wiktionary.

I'm not convinced this is worth the clutter of an extra preference.  Recommend WONTFIX.

If clutter is a concern, then this should be the default - creation of a new page should almost never be marked as a minor edit anyway. Cheers!

Closed. Even changing the current preference is not optimal. What about redirects and such?
