I follow this extension (bug 11958) with a great interest on de.wikipedia (:w:de:User:-jkb-). In cs.source where I am a bureaucrat (:s:cs:User:-jkb-) we are like to make some important changes in the very next future concerning the management of templates for the general use etc. To make it comfortable it will need to manage it with scripts. The possibility to make it with the help of this very interesting extension would increas the costumisation for all very much. But if we know that it will be enabled we can plan our changes according to this. The page MediaWiki:Gadgets-definition has already been created. So please enable this fine tool for the cs.source. Thx, -jkb-
Template management should be done via shared CSS/JS files and not via gadgets. That's not what gadgets are intended for.

err, I think they want to have it enabled so they can use scripts to update their templates.
Sure we want this enabled as I follow still the development on de.wikipedia (user since May 2004) and know what this can do. The comment #1 followed here without the on cs.source refisteredv user had consulted me in any way to ask what I mean. I renew my request and hope it will be done as soon as possible after the tests on de.wikipedia. Thx, ~~~~
I've just enabled it for all Wikimedia wikis.
a good X-mas news... (I hope you mean not only Wikipedias but Wikisources as well)... Anyway thank a lot. -jkb- (cs.source)
