Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Petko Yotov 2007-11-15 00:40:12 UTC
Hello Wikimedia Administrators!! :-)

Is it possibly here that I could ask for a creation of a WikiBG-L mailing list for the Bulgarian Wikipedia Community?

We already have a low volume infoBG-L but it is for discussing with external medias (mostly administrators and very advanced wikipedians are subscribed, able to reply on various questions related to all Wikimedia projects). We use this e-mail address in our Wikipedia:About page, and in all our press-releases, so that medias (radios, newspapers, websites) can contact us for more information.

However, the bg community grew a lot and we could use a new mailing list, dedicated to discussions internal to Wikipedia community. The subscription would be moderated and the archives would be restricted to the list subscribers (public topics are still discussed in the Wiki).

As it is essentially the same people who work on Wikipedia and on the other projects in Bulgarian language, the list will be open for discussions about Bulgarian language Wiktionary/Wikibooks too.

We currently have 19705 registered users from which possibly 100+ are active and at least 60 are very active (having already voted, which means 400+ edits in the main namespace and 75+ days of activity: [[bg:User:Nk/Гласуващи]]). We are working on more than 48301 articles as of today ([[bg:Special:Statistics]]).

I am Petko Yotov, [[bg:User:5ko]], [[meta:User:5ko]], [[en:User:5ko]], wikipedian since 2003, member of the bg-Press-team and I am a co-administrator of infoBG-L along with User:Borislav.

If possible, I would like the new list to have more than one user with admin/moderator rights (I don't know if it should be done in advance, or could be changed after).

Thanks a lot.
