Here is my search request : http://fr.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special%3ASearch&search=Mediawiki%3A%22historique+de%22&fulltext=Rechercher The answer is : « 1 résultats trouvés. Affichage des résultats 1 à 1 » However, no page is listed below when I use Internet Explorer 6.0. When I use Firefox 2.0 the alleged result is given as a blank page whose title is supposed to be « MediaWiki:Tous les messages », which is the French alias for « Special:AllMessages ». -------------------- Special:Search:Mediawiki:"... phrase ..." presently does not search within default values of Mediawiki messages. Could you add all the default values into the search data base ? Or should we use a bot to make a dummy edit into every message ?
This page does exist in the database (page_id=40013), and it's in the latest fr.wiki dump. I'm not sure why it doesn't show up. About default messages, that could be done by a cronjob rereading message files, but it's currently not top priority, as there is Special:Allmessages.
Mass close WONTFIX open Lucene Search issues because extension Lucene Search was removed, and replaced by MWSearch. Please set to REOPENED if behaviour still exists with a another component, and update the domain.
Mass REOPEN after discussion with Robert. Domain: Wikimedia/lucene-search-2. Assigned to maintainer.
Marking this as resolved, as the issue was either fixed or simply doesn't seem to exist any more.
