The <ask> format "template" seems to be broken in SMW1.0-RC2 and needs fixing.

A workaround is to use format="list" combined with the parameter "template" and possibly with sep="" to get a similar effect.

Using format=template on various sites, I did not encounter any problems after RC2. Closing as "worksforme".
