Description leblanc meneses 2007-11-02 15:04:36 UTC
i upgraded our server from 1.7 to 1.11

a straight jump. imported the db, did a web setup after deleting localsettings and upgrade was successful.

seems to be working fine except some random articles aren't being displayed.. only the title shows up. It doesn't ask if i want to add content which means it sees content already exists but just doesn't display it.

current work around
-------------------
if i click to edit, the article shows up in the textarea. when i submit as though i've edited the article ... it then gets displayed on the page. We have tons of pages.. i don't want to have to see the whole site for this bug.

what can i do in the db so i enable for the page to be viewable?

thanks

It sounds as though some cache was bad. Since the content loaded after page edits, that rules out DB corruption or data loss.

I can't replicate this on trunk. Closing WORKSFORME. Feel free to reopen if you can reproduce this on a more recent copy of MediaWiki.
