Please add Auto-Conversion to bitmap formats on-request as described at http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons_talk:Graphics_village_pump#Auto-Conversion_to_bitmap_formats_on-request or suggest free tools for doing such conversions ourselves.

I'd really rather not embed every conceivable offline image conversion tool into MediaWiki. You should be able to find a huge array of freeware graphics tools online without any trouble.
