there's a lot of categories we call 'user-categories': all articles start with 'user:...'. examples 1.) 'Kategorie:Wird im Mentorenprogramm betreut' or 2.) 'Kategorie:Benutzer aus Bonn'. if you start Spezial:CategoryTree on those, you'll find some users, whose usernames are identical with category-names: in example 1.) it's 'Benutzer:Berlinale' and 'Benutzer:Preußen'; in 2.) it's 'Benutzer:Landwirt'. instead of showing a pure list of these users, those other categories are mixed in between the list! (my own opinion: the list should be checked wether there's 'Benutzer:' in it or not. and if yes, no false 'subcategory' should be shown - no user ever has such in reality!) regards, ulli p.
If I understand correctly, the problem is that the 'all pages' display of CategoryTree is pulling subcategories for things which aren't categories -- for instance listing the members of Kategorie:Preußen under an entry for Benutzer:Preußen. I've updated the example URL and bug summary with more detail.
