Description Michael Chang 2007-09-14 14:57:43 UTC
Hi! Could it be possible we can use forms with edittools at the top of
every textarea in the Semantic Forms like the follow:

It would be more convenient If we could use than to fill data in
every textarea.
Thanks! Roc michael

Version 1.3 now allows the use of the FCKeditor on the 'free text' input. It's not allowed on every textarea, which is what this bug requests, but it's a start.

Transposing the function into textAreaHTML (SF_FormInputs.php) is actually fairly straightforward and I managed to do this already with my installation. Where it gets hairy is that in SF_FormUtils.php the function mainFCKJavascript is coded to statically reference "free_text" and would need to be changed to dynamically reference all textareas, or alternatively, a new field type. Unfortunately this code involves JavaScript which is not my specialty.

I just submitted that Bug 25927 is a duplicate of this one, although it does
include the additional (and desirable) feature of specifying which text fields
include the "FCKeditor treatment".
