Whenever we tried to edit just a section of an article, if the title of the article contains extended characters, they will all be saved in another name instead. You can check the delete log for the problems we have so far. For example, when editing a section of the article [[:wikia:babyish:Juŋnamŋon|Juŋnamŋon]], the section will be saved as a separated article called [[:wikia:babyish:JuÈünamÈüon|JuÈünamÈüon]] instead.
Well, I didn't have any trouble making this edit: http://babyish.wikia.com/index.php?title=Ju%C5%8Bnam%C5%8Bon&diff=6206&oldid=6195 (in Firefox 2.0.0.6 on Linux) I notice that there's a non-standard editing plugin on this wiki, so my suspicion is that there's a bug in it. Without access to the plugin we couldn't really debug it directly, but we can drop the Wikia folks a line about it.
I was using Firefox 2.0.0.6 and is using IE 7.x on Windows Vista.

No response from the original reporter for two years, bug not reproduceable, I'm closing it with assumption that it has something to non-standard extensions or Wikia patches.
