Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Dan Collins 2007-08-31 15:24:48 UTC
Per bug [[10284]], can ( be added to $wgCaptchaWhitelistIP?
Comment 1 JeLuF 2007-09-01 13:57:36 UTC
Why? The login captcha only shows if you try to log in with the wrong pass. That shouldn't happen to a bot.
Comment 2 Dan Collins 2007-09-01 14:00:15 UTC
However, if one bot has an error - as has happened, evidenced by my seeing captchas recently - if affects the whole toolserver.
Comment 3 Daniel Kinzler 2007-09-01 14:07:20 UTC
It would also be usefull for semi-automatic account creation (I could simply tell CommonsTicker "create account on"). But I guess that'll go away with SUL anyway.
Comment 4 JeLuF 2007-09-26 04:04:18 UTC
We've seen enough abuse on the toolserver in the past. I don't want to see a toolserver user trying to hack accounts.
