on the edit pages, when you click the ''Image button'', [[Image:Example.jpg]] comes up. on the danish [[Bild:Example.jpg]], and on the icelandic [[Mynd:Example.jpg]], I want [[Image:Example.jpg]] go to [[Сурт:Example.jpg]] when someone clicks the Image Picture button on the edit area (on the chechen wikipedia, ce.wikipedia.org) And a few others when you click the buttons on top which are still in russian that I want over to Chechen: Internal Link Current Russian: Заголовок ссылки Request Switch to Chechen: Язде линк кхузахь Image: Current Russian: Изображение: Request Switch to Chechen: Сурт: Медиа (Media, for .ogg) can stay the way it is thanks a lot! Created attachment 4021 [details] Patch for this bug (I think) Change title of NS_IMAGE, and replace link_sample and extlink_sample for ce: default messages file. (I hope I did this properly, and I realize that it'd take about 10 seconds for the devs to make the changes on their own, so feel free to completely ignore me.)
you know, not all chechens speak Russian. It would be easier, MUCH MUCH easier to have fallback:en instead of ru. we have a few translators for the chechen wiki and its rather difficult to translate from Russian to Chechen instead of English to Chechen. Thanks :)

Bugzilla is not the place to translate few messages. Betawiki is preferred way to do that. Translating in any Wikimedia wiki is waste of effort, if those translators are not made available for all MediaWiki projects.
