Description Filip Maljkovic [Dungodung] 2007-08-20 13:06:11 UTC
When you enter a username in the appropriate field on the [[Special:Newpages]] page and click "Go", the username is passed by a POST request. I think it should be passed by a GET request, i.e. the resulting URL should be http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Newpages&username=Username, rather than http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Newpages (still the same). Why is this important? Well, it's not that important, but when you want to link to the list of someone's newly created pages, it's easier, more intuitive, especially for newer users, and less error-prone to go to the special page itself, enter the username and copy/paste the resulting link, rather than typing the link manually.
