Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Adam Michalik 2007-08-19 12:31:48 UTC
Today I was enlightened by an idea of new feature when adding category - making possible describing category entry, something like:
[[Category:Born in 1847|Bell, Alexander Graham|Inventor of telephone]]
We would be able to get rid of those lists like the one at [[April 1]] - category would be enough. Of course, there is highly possible that it would be helpful in the places we would never imagine.

Sorry for my language mistakes, I hope you got my point anyway.

I'd have forgotten - description would show up next to the entry at the category page.
