Hello,

My Requirement or I would like to see is Visio Diagram integration into the great MediaWiki.

I know that this is possible via Saving the Diagram as a PNG and uploading the diagram, but would like to see better integration as I know this is utilized by alot of companies and organizations.

If a visio diagram could just be uploaded as is with the .vsd extension and be displayed that would be great. As this is not possible at the moment as I have changed Mime types in the mime conf file and included vsd in the file extensions array but to no avail.

I am pretty sure that the Visio file format is proprietary and that it's not possible to create an extension with the suggested functionality. See also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Visio
