Do you want anonymous page creation *and* anonymous editing disabled? Am I right in saying that we don't want a full database lock yet?
Comment 2 Casey Brown 2007-08-15 14:17:31 UTC
We could also make it so that people can't create new accounts too. ;) So many options!
Comment 3 Alex S.H. Lin 2007-08-15 15:34:55 UTC
I know Mediawiki could make so many options. :) But just disable anonymous page creation, please.
Comment 4 JeLuF 2007-08-16 04:24:32 UTC
Done.

    'wikimania2007wiki' => array( '*' => array(
         'createpage' => false ,
    )),

You'll get the following when trying to create a new page:

  Page creation limited

  This site has restricted the ability to create new pages.
  You can go back and edit an existing page, or log in or
  create an account.
Comment 5 Alex S.H. Lin 2007-08-22 02:14:49 UTC
How about the talkpage? After the createpage disable, they move to create talkpage ....Orz.
