We've had some discussion about this on the english wikipedia and I believe we've achieved some consensus. We would like the devs to add an edit count requirement to become autoconfirmed. So we thought that after 20 edits as well as the traditional 4 days a person would become autoconfimed, edit sprotected pages et cet. I did ask Voice of All about this and he said it was possible by using the edit_count column on the user table.
Links to discussion... Not sure about consensus to do so however. Navou

Am I right if I guess that this has already been implemented in the code and just needs a line in localsettings? And if so what would it take for the devs to do this?
There's no consensus. Closed.
Changing res to LATER should consensus ever be gained.
