After a user resets their password, MediaWiki asks them to enter their new password. Upon doing so, they are presented with the error message below followed by the login form. Presumably, MediaWiki is still checking against the old password that just got replaced on the previous page load. The new password works thereafter.

"Your password has been changed successfully! Now logging you in...
[ Login error: Incorrect password entered. Please try again. ]"

This occurs on en-Wikisource and on at least one non-English Wikipedia, and probably on all Wikimedia wikis.

Unable to reproduce problem on en.wikipedia, en.wikisource, and a local installation.

I believe this was fixed when ChangePassword was moved out of Preferences. At the very least, it's a WORKSFORME now.
