one with a diff a one not

the one with the diff show the categorie page in red, as if she doesn't exist

the second show it in blue because she truely exist

the problem appear in the content of edit summary too

I can confirm that I'm seeing the red link on that page, and I'm not sure why. The page doesn't have a bad
brokenlinks entry, and I cleared the page's parser cache (action=purge) and linkscc entries with no change
visible.

I am unable to reproduce it on another page by duplicating the page contents. With luck it's a freak
temporary database glitch and we will never see it again. :D

The edit summary problem is bug 1080, and is known to work in 1.4.
Comment 2 Brion Vibber 2004-12-12 20:18:53 UTC
I have now reproduced the bug: it's caused by the bad link in the edit summary (bug 1080) polluting the
link cache before the page is rendered.

Can confirm that this bug is not present in 1.4, so resolving as fixed.
