Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description wiki_tomos 2004-12-11 18:54:33 UTC
With Mediawiki 1.4 (I think beta2, but not sure) at commons, wikinews, etc.,
interface language can now be chosen using Special:Preference.

The interface language affects URLs of special pages like this:

http://en.wikinews.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Categories

I noticed that I cannot obtain longer list when I am using Japanese or German as
the interface language. The URL shown on the page is as follows:

http://en.wikinews.org/w/index.php?title=%E7%89%B9%E5%88%A5:Categories&limit=100&offset=0

http://en.wikinews.org/w/index.php?title=Spezial:Categories&limit=100&offset=0

The namespace(?) part is, in other words, translated where it should not. So the
link is invalid.

Fixed in REL1_4 and HEAD. Navigation links in QueryPage should be translated by
wgContLang.
