Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Barns 2007-07-28 15:30:09 UTC
Apparently the FCK people got a wikitext version of their editor.
I tested it, and this is just fantastic for all Mediawiki websites!!!

But it seems they had to change a couple of MW files to get it integrated, although it was mainly developped as an extension.

Could you MW people help them get that as 100% extension (without MW modification) ? I think it would help people getting involved in writing articles a lot!

Isn't this already in svn?

FCK is ok for simple pages, but it breaks pages with complex templates or extension usage. so it's useless for sites like wikipedia.

The entire concept of wysiwyg is problematic. I would much rather have working syntax highlighting.

Currently at although it's far from perfect yet.
