Description Eep² 2007-07-27 10:41:32 UTC
Is this doable? I'm not much of a PHP coder...
Comment 1 Danny B. 2007-07-27 13:37:10 UTC
I'd probably mark this as duplicate of bug 10628, but this speaks about extension.
Comment 2 Eep² 2007-07-30 12:56:52 UTC
With the help of another user, [[mw:User:Tim Laqua|]], this now works in the main search script. See [[mw:Talk:Extension:Multi-select Namespace Search]] for discussion about how to replace/overwrite/override stock functions within classes. Any ideas?
Comment 3 Eep² 2007-08-08 17:36:39 UTC
Not sure why the link to "mw:" (MediaWiki) goes to Wikipedia but the above link should be http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension_talk:Multi-select_Namespace_Search (and I'm updating the extension with the CSS element fix from bug 10628.

Our hacks to BugZilla don't include a full-blown interwiki link parser; MediaWiki's smart enough to handle interwiki redirects for us. The link should still work. :)
Comment 5 Eep² 2007-08-08 17:42:00 UTC
It ''does't'' work though; try it and see...
Comment 6 Eep² 2007-08-08 17:43:13 UTC
Neither does MediaWiki italics markup too, apparently...
