Hello,

when entering for MediaWiki:Sidebar content like

* navigation
...
** Category:Arbeitsaufträge|Arbeitsaufträge
...

this XHTML is generated:

<div class="portlet" id="p-navigation">
	<h5>Navigation</h5>
	<div class="pBody">
		<ul>
			...
			<li id="n-Arbeitsaufträge">
				<a href="/mediawiki/index.php/Kategorie:Arbeitsauftr%C3%A4ge">Arbeitsaufträge</a>
			</li>
			...
		</ul>
	</div>
</div>

The German Umlaut ä is used a part of the <li> id value and this is not allowed (see http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/types.html#h-6.2).
