Comment 2 Raimond Spekking 2007-07-10 15:04:42 UTC
Extension messages added with exception of 'cite_text' which is Wikipedia-ism.

Applied with r23965.

Comment 3 Adriaan 2007-07-10 16:38:50 UTC
Ok, but my English isn't that good, so are you basically saying that the problem is being taken care of? ~~~~
Comment 4 Raimond Spekking 2007-07-10 16:54:32 UTC
The problem is solved/fixed. All messages with exception of == Wikipedia-ism == from comment#1 will be available to af:wikiquote and all other af speaking projects incl. Wikimedia Commons, Meta etc etc within the next few days after the next software synchronization. Please see [[af:Special:Version]]. The versionsnumber there should be >= MediaWiki 1.11alpha (r23965.)
Comment 5 Shinjiman 2007-07-10 17:00:49 UTC
Yes, the text stated in the comment 1 have been told about the problems about the texts in the messages.

For Wikipedia-ism messages, those message are *not* copied to the message array because the MediaWiki software is used in many projects or websites those messages should be translated from the English language message file.

The outdated or not all variables used messages may be contains the unused messages in the translated messages, also you can have a reference to the English message file and translate that to your language.

You can have a check to the latest revision of the English language message
file from http://svn.wikimedia.org/svnroot/mediawiki/trunk/phase3/languages/messages/MessagesEn.php
.
Comment 6 Adriaan 2007-07-10 17:41:10 UTC
Ah ok... so it's not yet synchronised... So thank you very much!
