Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

The administrator who wanted me (...) to enable Special:Import on the Norwegian Wikibooks (nowikibooks) (see bug 10485) also wanted to have Confirm Edit enabled, to aid in countervandalism. Thanks. ;-)
Comment 1 Aaron Schulz 2007-07-06 21:07:20 UTC
Patrolled Edits and Confirm Edit are not related. Did you just mean the Confirm Edit extension?
Comment 2 Jon Harald Søby 2007-07-06 21:09:37 UTC
Oh, sorry, I thought they were the same. I mean the one where you get a red ! in Recent Changes (not sure which one of them it is).

Which groups should

1) have their edits automatically patrolled, and
2) be able to patrol others' edits?

Also, was there any discussion on this you can link to? Or just this one admin wants it?

Hello, I'm the admin who requested this.

I mean both automatically patrolled and be able to patrol others' edits.
Comment 5 Aryeh Gregor (not reading bugmail, please e-mail directly) 2007-07-09 12:51:38 UTC
Which groups of users should have these permissions? Sysops only?
Comment 6 H92 2007-07-09 12:54:38 UTC
Sysops and all other higher statuses
Comment 7 JeLuF 2007-08-16 22:11:00 UTC
Done.
Comment 8 H92 2007-08-18 10:48:36 UTC
Thank you very much!
