Since [[Special:Specialpages]] becomes increasingly long, adding structure might be helpful.

Suggestion: add another header, such as "Personal pages" / "My special pages", or similar, and collect under it:
- Log in / create account / Logout
- My watchlist
- (My) Preferences

- My contributions
- E-mail me

The latter two are not currently listed under [[Special:Specialpages]] and "E-mail me" is not utterly necessary, but both imho should go there for the sake of completeness.

Wikis dealing with specific subject matters might wish to add special pages of their own under this specific heading. (E.g. "my family" in a genealogy wiki)

"My contributions" is redundant, given that we have a link to "Contributions" there, and "Email me" *is* completely useless.

I heared of people using "Email me" for non-public notetaking when using foreign computers, such as in internet cafes, or in company networks during break times, so it's not *completely* useless.
