Created attachment 3750 [details] Screenshot Hi, I am not sure if this is an "correct bug" to report or whether the folks at Apple should deal with this (I notified them, too via the "report this page" tool). Attached are two screenshots from de.wikipedia.org. The upper bar of buttons (edit, talk page) is rendered below the article, making it unusable. The second bug (missing text in bold typeface) could be unrelated to that. I am not sure if this is a problem somewhere else or if this comes from Safari's general behaviour.
Rendering of http://de.wikipedia.org/ seems fine here: Windows XP Professional SP 2 with all updates (including IE 7) Nothing else fancy installed but Apple's Bonjour plugin for LAN server testing and the Safari beta. Rumor is that other German users experience this so there might be something funny in localizations on Apple's end.
Works fine for me, too. Windows XP Professional, Version 2002, Service Pack 2, but IE6, not 7.
See this discussion thread: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=992780&tstart=0 Appears to be a bug with the text rendering subsystem which causes it to fail to access some fonts on systems with lots of fonts. This is an upstream bug (now known and being worked on) and not specific to Wikipedia or MediaWiki, so going to close this as 'worksforme'.
The font bug is alleged to be fixed in Safari for Windows beta 3.0.2.
