In the user interface, it would be much more user-friendly to allow "clickable images", i.e. when an image is clicked, the reader ends up on the link destination and not on the image description page (which is the current behaviour). While getting the description page is logical in articles, in order to get author & license information, this is counter-intuitive in the interface, where non-experienced readers do not expect this kind of behaviour. See for instance http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Noarticletext : click on images should go to the destination. The current solutions are not appropriate : Imagemap extension is still limited (no magic words...), and http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Template:Click poses several CSS and browser-related problems. Note that this would be requested for pages in the MediaWiki namespace only, and optionally (via a magic word ?) Thanks
