It would be nice to extend the {{NUMBEROFARTICLES}} magic word or to create a new magic word whereby we could get a count of the number of pages in any given namespace.

It's called PAGESINNAMESPACE, and it's disabled by default because it's potentially quite slow. Switch it on using $wgAllowSlowParserFunctions if desired.

Much obliged, I thought there was something, but after a light search I couldn't find it.
