English Wikibooks is currently using an old beta version of DynamicPageList when the latest version 1.2.0 is marked as stable. Can English Wikibooks be updated to use the 1.2.0 version of this extension?

The only version of DynamicPageList that is in use is the trunk version of DynamicPageList.

No version of DynamicPageList2 is used at all, and we have no intention of using it at this time. Specific functions which are required should be supported by specific, targetted extensions which can be more easily reviewed and maintained for security and performance.
