The proposal to close the Old English Wikisource, discussed since 6 December 2006 has been broadly supported by the community. 

Reasons:

- Duplication of existing project, since English wikisource accepts Old English texts,
- no content except for a few pages, which were copied and pasted from English Wikisource
- no community
- no activity (except for spam and vandalism)

Before locking the database, please do a full spam cleanup (see http://ang.wikisource.org/wiki/Category:Requests_for_deletion as well as
http://ang.wikisource.org/wiki/Special:Allpages

Furthermore http://ang.wikisource.org/wiki/Cn%C4%93orisb%C5%8Dc is an alleged copyvio (see talk page) and thus should also be deleted.
