Bugzilla 4.4 gave tags way more visibility. Now I've seen developers in teams I work with getting confused by whiteboard, keywords and tags ("Now that you explain what is what I would called "tags" what you call "keywords"). Renaming "Tags" to "Personal Tags" would make the scope way clearer (your tags are only visible to yourself) and would help to differentiate from "global defined" keywords and "free-text but still visible to everybody" whiteboard. Brought up in today's meeting with the Wikidata crew. Upstream: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=980918

Andre, I added a tag as 'todo' and I see that and Email was sent to you regarding that. Isn't it private to the user ?
How did you see that 1) "email was sent to me" and 2) "regarding that"? Example welcome...
(In reply to Andre Klapper from comment #2) Oh! That day, I saw something like:- Email sent to: aklapper@wikimedia.org Probably my mistake. Now its not happening. And to fix this, I cant find the relevant file to edit in bugzilla-modifications/
(In reply to Tony Thomas from comment #3) > Oh! That day, I saw something like:- > Email sent to: aklapper@wikimedia.org That might be true; however Bugzilla itself then sorts out how gets notifications about which parts of the changes, depending on access rights. > I cant find the relevant file to edit in bugzilla-modifications/ It's not in modifications as we only have modifications in there, and this is not modified yet. The code needs to be taken from upstream, changed, and put into the repository. However this is lower priority.
