While typing in Indic languages using ULS mobile typing follows the logic for English and auto-capitalized each word which produces wrong spelling for the Indic words. This features should be disabled.
Uhm, ULS has nothing to do with the Wikipedia app. /me scratches head.
(In reply to comment #0) > While typing in Indic languages using ULS mobile typing Please provide specific, clear steps to reproduce. This report is way too general to be useful and misses the specific languages tested, the specific websites tested on, browser and version information, operating system information, and steps to reproduce. See https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/How_to_report_a_bug for information and provide the missing information. Thanks.

I have tried to open all the Indic language Wikipedias from my iPhone and this is same across all of them. That's why I have mentioned Indic Wikipedias. Any more specificity needed?
Yes: > browser and version information, operating system information, > and steps to reproduce (click by click)
I... am still very confused since the ULS has nothing to do with The Wikipedia app
Created attachment 12620 [details] Snapshot of the auto-capitalization in the middle of a sentence which gives rise typo in every single word
(In reply to comment #6) > Created attachment 12620 [details] > Snapshot of the auto-capitalization in the middle of a sentence which gives > rise typo in every single word Thanks Subhashish! Which exact page/URL is this about, in order to reproduce? (See comment 2) And pardon my ignorance on Brahmic scripts - is this Odia? Could you provide an example of one incorrect word here, and what should be shown instead? If you are on the mobile site, ULS is not even enabled, so could you please clarify why you think that ULS has anything do with this?

Hey Andre, This was the page: http://or.wikipedia.org/s/g5e, I took a snapshot while accessing the desktop version and not the mobile version.
But how do you access the **desktop** version in the Wikipedia App?
(In reply to comment #9) > But how do you access the **desktop** version in the Wikipedia App? I think I reported the bug in the wrong category, please move it to the mobile in the product field. I accessed it using the browser.
So what are the exact steps to reproduce, step by step, and which exact hardware, browser and browser version is this about? Also, > Could you provide an > example of one incorrect word here, and what should be shown instead?

I'm afraid if I got your question correctly (What do you mean by "reproduce" for changing webfont). I have tested it on a Mac OS X 10.7.5, Firefox 21.0
Which hardware is this about? By "reproduce" I mean that I would love to see the problem myself, but for that I need good and exact steps to follow, in order to make sure that I do the same that you do. This is still missing. Again, see https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/How_to_report_a_bug
Subhashish: Can you answer comment 13 please?
This doesn't seem to have anything to do with the Wikipedia mobile app, which has no editing features so can't produce the screenshot attached up above. Reassigning to ULS.
I'm setting this to unconfirmed, and I'm tempted to set it to invalid. I'm missing comprehensive steps to reproduce after 15 comments.
Setting this to invalid. If there's something substantial remaining, please open a new bug, so we can start with a clean slate.
