Description Ryan Kaldari 2013-05-11 06:07:44 UTC
If I go to Special:Search on en.wiki and try to search for "@!#%" or just "@" or any string that doesn't include any alphanumeric characters, it gives me the following error:
"An error has occurred while searching: The search backend returned an error:"

Searching for such terms on a regular MediaWiki installation (without lucene) works fine though.

Wont be fixing this, lsearchd has reached its end of life.

We've got a similar bug in Cirrus, tracking at bug 53013.
