When I logged in without a username that exists, I got the message "There is no user by the name "Thehelpfulone3". Check your spelling, or go to Wikipedia's signup page to create a new user account." "Wikipedia's signup page" links to https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:UserLogin&type=signup. Can we change the wording from "Wikipedia's signup page" to something better? I'm open to suggestions, but as a first idea: "click here to create a new user account"?
This is not a software issue. It's English Wikipedia's https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Nosuchuser override. For reference, the software default is: There is no user by the name "$1". Usernames are case sensitive. Check your spelling, or [[Special:UserLogin/signup|create a new account]]. You can certainly propose to change English Wikipedia's at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki_talk:Nosuchuser or e.g. the village pump.
