- upload image - try to change the image title - I could not find how to do it - upload wizard should make it more explicit that image titles should be picked carefully, since they can not be changed later - this happened to me while uploading images to commons - as a first step I just wanted to upload a few images and then change the metadata, but the title can not be changed later (or at least I could not find a way)
Images can be moved, but on commons only people in the filemover group can do it https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:ListGroupRights Whereas on enwiki, filemovers and admins can do it https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:ListGroupRights As such, this should probably vary on rights, but telling users to pick a "good" title now is a reasonable idea

This looks like a WONTFIX to me: it's not true at all that the title can't be changed, and for instance on Commons it's very easy to ask renames with the appropriate template. The form already says that the title should be descriptive; adding more warning clutter would scare users with little benefit, and Erik previously WONTFIX'ed similar warnings on categories (which are way bigger a problem than titles, by the way).
Your argument is valid, I am closing this now.
