When creating a user subpage (e.g., [[User:Reid/Format experiments]]), the interface will offer the standard user fields (name, photo, location). But these are not appropriate for user subpages, just the actual user page. Removing "{{User}}" from the beginning of the source produces the warning "Warning: This page already exists, but it does not use this form" when using the "Edit" button. "Edit Source" seems OK. The point is, only the actual user page (e.g., [[User:Reid]]) should be assumed to have the user semantic stuff. Subpages should be blank with no semantic stuff by default.
This should presumably be filed under the appropriate extension (some SMW extension?)
It's an AcaWiki bug (http://acawiki.org). My understanding is that the AcaWiki component is sufficient to indicate that (do a search for that to see a handful of others), but feel free to inquire at acawiki-general@lists.ibiblio.org.
But the Semantic Wiki people need to fix this if it is a SMW problem. And I don't know if they're looking at AcaWiki bugs. Re-filing so they see it.
Re-assign to Yaron as this seems to be about Semantic Forms.
I finally checked in a fix to SVN for this, so that subpages aren't covered by default forms for their namespace. It will go into the next version of SF. Marking this as "fixed".
