Several things are broken with using Extension:Gadgets in the latest MW 1.15.0 as reported on the talk page.
Are you using the trunk version of Gadgets, or the version from the 1.15 branch?

The user there was using a trunk version of Gadgets with an old version of MediaWiki core. For future reference, when reporting a bug, please include details about what is broken, and the environment. BAD: Gadgets is broken GOOD: Gadgets from r52070 with MediaWiki 1.15 gives the following fatal error:
Reverting unexplained reopening by somebody not involved with the bug. If you're also experiencing the same issue, follow the steps I outlined in my comment, and then if it's not working, please leave a comment detailing your problems.
MediaWiki 1.15 has this error with Extensions from trunk still.

What more to explain is here. Consider opening this bug, because it is still there.
