I uploaded a image a few days ago under the name BurkaV&R.jpg Now the problem is that when one wants to visit the page of this image (Image:BurkaV&R.jpg) the page "image:BurkaV.jpg" shows up without a image. Just the line of their not being a file. Now we temperary solved this problem by making a redirect from the page "image:burkaV.jpg" to "imageburkaV&R" by which we can see the page of the file BurkaV&R.jpg. So maybe the "&" in a url is messing things up. I have heared (not comfirmed) that the same kind of problem happens with the "#". -Yours trouly, Kevin de Bruijne. This is a problem with your web server's rewrite rules -- it's de-escaping URL metacharacters, then constructing a bogus target URL. Due to the difficulty in using Apache's mod_rewrite reliably for this, we recommend using an Alias to index.php instead, though there are other possibilities. http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Short_URL#Ampersand_.28.26.29_problem
